It's a lovely quiet location beside the river and the on-site custodian (I think it's Dai) is very helpful. Really nice guy. However having bought fresh food in Brecon we were surprised to find that there is no fridge for use by people with tents, i.e. campers in a camp site. I know we should have checked in advance but this was a major problem as the weather was hot.
Easy going campsite, fire pits allowed in the camping field, pyo on the farm. The river runs along the campsite great fun for the kids and not far from brecon Town. We visited there twice in the last few weeks.
Lovely and quiet, with a nice view, showers were warm and toilets clean. You can also have log burners so makes for a nice evening.
Beautiful landscape around, friendly, good amenities, river bank camping, option to hire nice tent. Pick your own strawberries for breakfast. Very chilled.
Fantastic site. Very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful surroundings to wake up in. Our dog loved his first camping with us. We cannot wait to go back. The toilet/shower facilities are immaculate. If you want a quiet relaxing camping experience this is definitely the place.
