Great family day out. Goat feeding, petting zoos, feeding the sheep, a good cafe, good sized indoor play area. Easily fills a day for the kids.
Our day at Cantref was the highlight of our trip!! We spent a half day with Meg on a 2 hour horseback ride. Meg is so sweet, warm and welcoming and made us feel so comfortable from the orientation throughout the whole day. The day before, Steve had spent several minutes on the phone with me explaining what train to take and how to get there. Our horses were so sweet and we had a great time getting views of the Welsh country side. Thank you to Cantref Farms for the fantastic outing! Well worth the journey out there!
Spent a couple of days camping at Cantref. The site is compact but the surroundings are brilliant. It's a working farm with some camping and a farm park. The staff were very helpful as we arrived on the Bank Holiday Monday which was busy. Highlights were toasting marshmallows on the fire pit, the bird song at 4:30am is amazingly varied like a concert orchestra. The girls 12 and 10 loved the pony trekking but felt the farm park was for younger children. The cafe does some really nice cakes.
Brilliant day out. Parking gent, really welcoming when we arrived. Busy hot Bank holiday, so lots families. Four half year old loved it. Dino Day today. She enjoyed pony rides, jungle swamp, trampoline, sledge slide, splash paddle. We didn't get to tractor ride & pig racing.Food lovely & reasonable. Toilets clean. Indoor play area great. Tractors fun. Only criticism coffee not good from machine. Staff really friendly & hard working. Male member staff on pony rides, was so nice to my little girl. Will be back & wish you all best you really deserve it. Felt we were guests on your farm. More intimate that the larger attractions.
